Noesis is looking for candidates with the following profile:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Day-to-Day administration – monitoring and troubleshooting (vSphere parts, network, hardware);
• Resource provisioning: VMs, datastores, networks, servers;
• Installation, operation and maintenance of storage technologies and backups that include, among others, the following products/equipment: DellEMC Powerstore; DellEMC ECS; Veritas NetBackup; Brocade SAN switches; Commvault;
• Installation of system updates and fixes;
• Configuration of new systems, management of space allocation, volumes and data replication between different datacenters;
• Analyze and resolve issues related to storage solutions and associated customer systems;
• Capacity analysis and planning and costing;
• Management of backup policies;
• Monitoring, troubleshooting when performing backups and recovering systems;
• Planning recovery strategies for complex systems from backup or other high availability solutions;
• Installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of NAS solutions stems - architecture, new implementations, evolution, governance, and modernization of existing workloads.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vSphere infrastructure;
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing storage/backup infrastructures;
• Experience with storage vSAN;
• Good knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques and equipment used in the administration and support of the Storage Area Network (SAN);
• Knowledge in VMware vSphere Knowledge of storage technologies based on IP technologies;
• Knowledge of core infrastructure such as routers, switches, patch panels, and other hardware and software associated with networking technologies;
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;
• Certifications or experience equivalent to fundamental – VMware Certified Professional Datacenter Virtualization.
