JOB DESCRIPTION

• Execution of Service requests to provide catalogued BI standard services for diverse BI applications (e. g., data loads, data maintenance)​;
• Extraction of Data from various data sources;
• Monitors process chains and manages aborts (restart, creation of detailed error analysis including solution proposal)​;
• Providing recommendations to improve the current data loading processes;
• Handles data loading issues;
• Monitors system with regard to performance, dumps, load volume, data base growth and interacts with platform responsible;
• Resolves Incidents based on self-compiled error analysis and solution proposals;
• Ensures SLA compliance of application operations;
• Takes part on regular application management Jour Fixe meetings;
• Supports in the change development (modeling, programming, testing);
• Supports all activities for release upgrades of source systems and BW NetWeaver platform;
• Identifies application relevant business data, processes and transactions in source systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree;
• SAP BI (BW, BO) Certification or alternatively 2 years of experience;
• SAP BI reporting tools (Bex Query Designer, Bex WAD, Analysis for Office, BO Lumira);
• BW Modeling and Staging, Knowledge of LSA/LSA++ principles;
• ABAP programming incl. ABAP OO;
• General understanding of SAP ERP modules (processes, tables and transactions);
• Excellent communication skills;
• Team Player;
• Good English skills (fluent).
