Front-End Developer

Your Responsibilities:

- In this role, you will be working within a cross-functional team (Frontend, Backend and Team Lead) which is mainly responsible for our Brand Activation and Museum Projects.
- Work with your team to find the best solutions for complex (and sometimes simple, which takes) problems
- Understanding of company processes and project methodologies
- Ensure a close connection to Team Lead and Project Manager at the start of projects and throughout the development process to guarantee alignment of requirements and goals
- Provide detailed planning, descriptions and deadlines of your tasks
- Ensure proper project and code documentation
- Ensure proper repository etiquette and coding standards

The assets you bring to the team:
- Expertise in frontend development, HTML, CSS, and other Web technologies
- Expertise in JavaScript frameworks and technologies (i.e. React)
- Experience with API consumption on the frontend
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming
- Experience with Docker and other CI tools
- Experience working with GIT versioning systems
- Experience with Project Management tools (Kanban and task-based time-tracking)
- Capacity to develop quick Proof of Concept core functionality
- Excellent communication and work management skills
- Strong analytical capability, discipline, and enthusiasm

Nice to Haves:

- Experience with PHP (in case there's a sudden need for an extra set of back-end-able hands!)
- Experience in Python
- Experience with CMS systems (headless like Strapi, or fully fledged like WordPress)
- Experience with IoT technologies (i.e. Arduino, Raspberry, etc)
- Experience in mobile development with frameworks such as React-Native or Flutter
- Some DevOps, networking and troubleshooting experience
