We are looking for a Data Engineer for our team in Porto.

Responsibilities:
- Design, Development and Implementation of Performant Data Systems at Scale;
- Performing Code Reviews, Bug Fixing, Root Cause Analysis;
- Participate as a technical referent in developing code for processing and analyzing large amounts of data;
- Work in a cross-functional team and collaborate closely with Analysts and BI Developers to support the (technical) design, implementation and evaluation of data models and other data-driven features and services;
- Performing Proof of Concepts, Technology Evaluations exploring innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
- BSc or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent Software Engineering experience;
- 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable software and data-driven services using Big Data technologies, data storages (e.g. relational databases, key-value stores), data warehouses, and related   data processing technologies, as well as programming languages such as Python;
- Hands-on experience in RDBMS (SQL, Oracle etc.) and NoSQL (Mongo DB, Cassandra etc.);
-Hands-on experience in analyzing large datasets (e.g. with SQL, Spark, Python, Hive etc.);
- Experience with Jenkins;
-Experience in Agile Methods, Scrum Ceremonies, Jira, Confluence etc;
- Fluency in English.
