Dellent Consulting is a Portuguese consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, focused mainly on IT and Telecommunication services. We currently have a team of highly qualified professionals, with a wide range of know-how on the IT field, which allows to take on tech challenges and succeed.

We are looking for an experienced Cobol Developer for a long term role in a project in Lisbon.

You will:

• Deploy Releases of our product;
• Engage with other teams to ensure full project alignment;
• Evaluate requirements and suggests solutions and architectures;
• Ensure that all environment are available for the development teams;
• Develop in COBOL.

What are we looking for?

• 3-4 years of experience with COBOL + DB2;
• Deadline driven;
• Engage in removing impediments to the team’s progress;
• Other preferred Knowledge: AS400/Mainframe, CL/JCL , TFS / Visual Studio;
• Proficient in English.

Personal traits:

• Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams and Clients;
• Teamwork skills but also sense of autonomy;
• Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;
• Willingness to collaborate with other players;
• Strong communication skills.
