The Cash Application Team Lead provides assistance, coaching, and training to staff members, including new hires within the Cash Application Team. They are also responsible for the daily applications of cash processing and reconciliation of payments to the ConvaTec customers.
Reviews AR postings to ensure payments are applied correctly and appropriately. Reconciles adjustments related to prior payments posted as well as auditing and correction of rejected payments. Research and resolve unapplied/unidentified cash postings. This position holds additional duties with respect to research, and participation in root cause analysis and identifying process improvements. As well as, participation in employee training and quality audits, with possible exposure to multiple practice management systems.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in Managing a team of cash application specialists.
- Assist in maintaining reporting and dashboards.
- Assist with Month End Closing and Unapplied cash reporting.
- Assist in developing team challenges and competitions.
- Assist in developing new processes to gain efficiencies in posting.
- Serve as a backup resource for the entire team assisting in daily posting during business need.
- Work closely with Collections and Customer service teams to resolve payment application issues.
- Review daily customer & vendor payment batches for automation errors.
- Process lock box files, EFT, ACH and post credit card receipts.
- Contact customers to resolve remittance related issues
- Process refunds for duplicated payments
- Research and Resolve Unapplied payments.
- Drive for resolution of reoccurring cash application issues.

requisitos/requirements

- Working knowledge of cash applications processes preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Working knowledge of Microsoft excel (advance), Access, outlook, BI
- Emagia/ Highradius/ AR Collect (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a GBS environment essential
- Experience with managing a team
