We are always looking for bright and driven people who have a penchant for technology and want to hone their skills. At the moment we are hiring a Backend Java Developer for a long term contract role for a client in Lisbon.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar;
- Solid knowledge and strong experience in Java, Java frameworks, NodeJS and Javascript (mandatory);
- Knowledge in Continuous Integration and Delivery workflow (like Jenkins, Gitlab);
- Experience with Linux/Unix environment;
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot;
- Experience in Agile Methodology;
- Being self-driven, self-organized and working with little supervision towards a common team and company purpose;
- Building highly concurrent, transactional and resilient services;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Key Responsabilities:
- Work together with different stakeholders to detect improvement areas, make recommendations, provide technical specifications and development guidance;
- Be a driver of software development best practices, by promoting clean code conventions and proper usage of available tools;
- Be involved and provide input and expertise on projects, acting as Technical Architect;
- Be proactive in continuous process improvement.
