Description

The Audio-Visual/Information Technology Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of technology systems on board vessels, including multimedia, audio-visual, and satellite communication systems. As a member of the IT Team, they also function as an IT Business Partner, collaborating closely with Commercial, Operations, Maintenance Teams, and Hotel Managers.

The responsibilities of an Audio-Visual/Information Technology Manager include:

• Daily maintenance of multimedia systems, audio-visual and communications, internet, TV and satellite connectivity, CCTV systems, and other equipment ensuring an efficient operation;
• Ensuring the security systems are fully operational;
• Creating & implementing maintenance programs;
• Leading AV/IT projects;
• Working according to safety & security standards;
• Arranging & managing external contractor works;
• Monitoring AV/IT budget; - Managing season closing/opening;
• Coordinating winter season maintenance/improvement works.

• Sound Systems & Public Announcement;
• Wi-Fi Systems; - VoIP / PABX Systems;

Soft and hard skills:

• Preferably has a Degree in Electronics, Multimedia, or IT;
• In-depth knowledge of audio-visual and IT systems;
• Understanding of IP Networks and Cyber Security;
• Ability to detect, assess and solve any issue that may arise;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and guests in a calm manner;
• Able to work in front of guests and setup network, devices, and entertainment systems upon guest's request;
• Flexible and adaptable;
• Drivers license.
