Description
The Audio-Visual/Information Technology Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of technology systems on board vessels, including multimedia, audio-visual, and satellite communication systems. As a member of the IT Team, they also function as an IT Business Partner, collaborating closely with Commercial, Operations, Maintenance Teams, and Hotel Managers.
The responsibilities of an Audio-Visual/Information Technology Manager include:
- Daily maintenance of multimedia systems, audio-visual and communications, internet, TV and satellite connectivity, CCTV systems, and other equipment ensuring an efficient operation;
- Ensuring the security systems are fully operational;
- Creating & implementing maintenance programs;
- Leading AV/IT projects;
- Working according to safety & security standards;
- Arranging & managing external contractor works;
- Monitoring AV/IT budget; - Managing season closing/opening;
- Coordinating winter season maintenance/improvement works.

Soft and hard skills:
- Preferably has a Degree in Electronics, Multimedia, or IT;
- In-depth knowledge of audio-visual and IT systems;
- Understanding of IP Networks and Cyber Security;
- Ability to detect, assess and solve any issue that may arise;
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders and guests in a calm manner;
- Able to work in front of guests and setup network, devices, and entertainment systems upon guest's request;
- Flexible and adaptable;
- Drivers license.
